How to store Cationic Polyacrylamide?

Proper storage of Cationic Polyacrylamide(CPAM)is critical to preserve its flocculation performance,solubility,and shelf life.Below are the standard storage conditions widely followed in international trade and industrial use.
1.Storage Environment
Keep in a cool,dry,and ventilated place
Temperature:5–30°C(41–86°F)
Avoid direct sunlight,high temperature,and humidity
Relative humidity:below 60%
2.Packaging Protection
Keep the original bag sealed tightly at all times
Prevent moisture absorption,caking,and hydrolysis
Do not store with strong acids,alkalis,or oxidizing chemicals
Palletize off the ground to avoid ground moisture
3.Handling&Shelf Life
Avoid dust inhalation and skin contact
Do not crush or damage the packaging
Unopened shelf life:2 years
Once opened,use within 1–3 months
4.Storage of Prepared Solution
Prepare solution just before use
Use within 24–48 hours after dissolving
Do not store diluted liquid for too long(performance degrades rapidly)
Avoid metal containers(iron,copper);use plastic or stainless steel
