Anionic Polyacrylamide(APAM)is a linear,water‑soluble,high‑molecular‑weight polymer with negatively charged functional groups along its molecular chain.It shows the following key physical and chemical properties:
Excellent water solubility
It dissolves easily in cold and warm water to form a clear,viscous solution.It is insoluble in oil,acetone,ethanol,and other organic solvents.
High molecular weight
Typical molecular weight ranges from 3–25 million,which determines its flocculation,thickening,and bridging ability.
Adjustable charge density
The degree of hydrolysis(anionic charge)can be customized from low to high,adapting to different water quality and suspended particle characteristics.
